Proofs Required from Victims
Victims who suspect that they’ve been scammed should gather all possible evidence to report the fraud and take appropriate action:
- Screenshots of conversations with the seller, including payment requests, product images, and any promises made by the fraudster.
- Transaction Details: Include bank transfer receipts, payment confirmation messages, and proof of the amount sent.
- Courier Details: If the victim has received fake tracking numbers, they should keep a record of all communication with the courier service.
- Emails and Links: Any suspicious emails or website links used by the fraudster should be documented for further investigation.
- Witness Statements: If others have witnessed or been involved in the same transaction, their statements may support the case.
