Victims of online shopping fraud should gather the following evidence to report and resolve the issue:
- Screenshots of Listings: Keep screenshots of the fraudulent product listing, including product descriptions, prices, and images.
- Transaction Records: Provide evidence of the transaction, including order confirmation emails, payment receipts, and transaction IDs.
- Communication with Seller: Keep records of any communication (emails, chat logs) with the fraudulent seller or website.
- Product Photos: Take clear photos of the product received (if any), especially if it’s not as described or is counterfeit.
- Bank or Payment Statements: Provide evidence of payment made, such as credit card statements or PayPal records.
