Steps of the Fraud:
Attractive Job Advertisements:
Scammers post enticing work-from-home or part-time job offers on various online platforms, promising high income for minimal effort.
Application Process:
Interested individuals are asked to submit personal information and, in some cases, pay a registration or training fee to secure the position.
Assignment of Tasks:
Victims are given simple tasks, such as liking social media posts or writing reviews, with the promise of substantial payment upon completion.
Non-Payment and Further Demands:
After completing tasks, victims either receive no payment or are asked to pay additional fees for processing their earnings.
Realization and Reporting:
Victims eventually realize they have been scammed when payments are not received, leading to reports filed with cybercrime authorities.
