Proofs Required from Victims
Victims of job fraud should gather the following evidence:
- Screenshots of Job Listings or Emails: Capture any fraudulent job advertisements, emails, or messages that appear to offer employment opportunities.
- Communication with the Fraudster: Save all communication with the fraudster, including emails, text messages, and chat logs, particularly those that ask for money or personal information.
- Bank Statements or Payment Records: Collect records of any payments made, especially if you transferred money for a training course, processing fee, or other charges related to the job application.
- Job Application Documents: Retain any application forms, CVs, or personal information that you submitted during the application process.
Company Website or Fake URLs: Save screenshots or records of the company’s website or the URLs of fake job sites where you were led to submit personal information.
