Case 2: Man Loses ₹3 Lakh in Swiggy Customer Service Scam

Step 1: Fake Customer Care Number
The victim searched for Swiggy’s customer care number on Google and unknowingly dialed a
fraudulent helpline set up by scammers.
Step 2: Phishing for Payment Details
The fraudster, posing as a Swiggy executive, asked the victim to share his UPI details to
process a refund.
Step 3: Unauthorized Transactions
Once the victim shared his details, the scammer withdrew ₹3 lakh from his bank account.
Step 4: Realization and Complaint
Upon noticing the fraud, the victim lodged a complaint with the cybercrime cell.
